Memes are synonymous with shitposting, which is synonymous with a massive waste of time if our goal is to have good quality discussion. While I don't think kekposting is necessarily masonic, I've seen quite a few shitty, self congratulatory "we memed the presidency" posts. Which is bullshit, obviously. Sure, we did a lot to influence the election. We got the ball rolling on a lot of things, but this celebration is not consistent with our culture and philosophy. The one drawback of anonymity is that *we don't get credit*, and smug pepeposting turns into a degenerate circlejerk. I guess this is what happens when a bunch of kiddie newfags jump in.
