Youtube embed a security risk
Every time we load a page with a youtube embed they get a log of the pageload with IP and referral. Whenever there's a thread with a youtube embed on the catalog the same thing occurs. Unless you install uMatrix and block it, this is a bad thing. Do we really want youtube to have a gigantic log of pageviews and IPs? Google shouldn't be trusted with this data. If they want it, they should be forced to work for it. What are your thoughts on making an official /pol/ Discord? If anyone has their own IRC server, I would be willing to consider that, but if you use a public IRC server there isn't much that can be done to restrict channel access (which I imagine you would want to do).

besides that i was wondering if there is room for having country/language specific boards? one general [country]/pol/ thread does not allow the amount of room for discussion relevant to one country that a full board offers. it does not even have to be one country only, if there is not enough room then the netherlands and flanders can share a board and scandinavia (without finland) can probably do with a central board as well as germany and austria. so far my suggestions
