I think we can be more responsible with meme magic. Now that we have an understanding of how mind interfaces and manifests it can be honed. Think more in the vein of /32/ & /bmw/

I don't think you'll deny the beneficial effects of memes such as RWDS & Winter-chan/Ice Age-chan to our cause. Sure many of the attempts where not so constructive however that hardly warrants total abandonment of said line of inquiry.

meme magic is the end manifestation. It is a piece of our cultural ideals/virtues given digital form and empowered though humor.If we don't meme responsibly we'll get more Ebola-chan's, Earthquake-chan's, and other more degenerate/destructive memes.

I will not deny the need for some levels of decay for transformation to take place, however typically the path of least resistance is reformation/transmutation and not destruction & reconstruction.

The themes which occur in memes are clearly not random nor are the even our individual self's. Through history they can seem to take similar forms and by understanding nature it takes form of we can use that knowledge to what ever ideally virtuous end we desire.

How could you even possibly draw the line between "That's just a good lot of OC." vs "That's now so much OC it's meme magic and we frown upon that here."?

Every time we load a page with a youtube embed they get a log of the pageload with IP and referral. Whenever there's a thread with a youtube embed on the catalog the same thing occurs. Unless you install uMatrix and block it, this is a bad thing. Do we really want youtube to have a gigantic log of pageviews and IPs? Google shouldn't be trusted with this data. If they want it, they should be forced to work for it. I suggest disabling embeds, or setting it up so it doesn't load a preview image or video until a placeholder image is clicked.
The mods on 8/pol/ are shit, but if this place is going to be a repeat of their shit opsec it's hardly worth visiting here until the post rate gets up more. Good work on the site by the way and fuck imkamfy

What are your thoughts on making an official /pol/ Discord? If anyone has their own IRC server, I would be willing to consider that, but if you use a public IRC server there isn't much that can be done to restrict channel access (which I imagine you would want to do).

Discord is not open source, so I will not encourage it's use. IRC groups on image boards are pure cancer and always descends into drama and shitposting. There will NEVER be an official IRC server for Polchan.

There might be a Mumble server hosted here though, maybe a public one and a private one for discussion between mods.

i think it's a good idea to have a single thread were new boards are being proposed/requested so this board won't flood with threads from people asking for their own boards, so let's post all our requests here. i'll start by requesting a /meadhall/ board where people can organise meetups in their regions. Worked very well on 8chan for some countries, and it will probably help here.
besides that i was wondering if there is room for having country/language specific boards? one general [country]/pol/ thread does not allow the amount of room for discussion relevant to one country that a full board offers. it does not even have to be one country only, if there is not enough room then the netherlands and flanders can share a board and scandinavia (without finland) can probably do with a central board as well as germany and austria. so far my suggestions
